My Kids
I have not yet shown pictures of my kids...
Bailey - Bub dog was Adam, my hubbys birthday gift to me in 2005. We got him when we were stationed in Alaska. He is Lab Husky. He is the best behaved dog. His only weakness still is the trash when there is something yummy in it.
Whitney - She is my fat cat...LOL! She is our rescue cat from Alaska. When we were thinking of getting a new kitten we went to this home of a rescue lady that had a million cats. People really called her the cat lady. Whitney was in poor condition, but she was the sweetest. We went to get a kitten but we got a huge old lady cat. As soon as we got her home we bathed her because she smelled like cat pee. The water was green and dirty. She is the only cat I know that loves baths. She purrs in the bathtub. I love her soo much. We were glad when her condition got better. The vet diagnosed her with asthma and allergies. Didnt know cats could have those but I guess they can.
Last but not least is Henry, he is our newest addition and boy is he a trip. He always runs through the house like he is on fire. He is soooo an add dog. He is over 1 year old and he still chews everything. My mother in laws house looks like a mine field with all the holes he has dug. He is funny though. He is a rescue from when we were stationed in Virginia. Here he is drinking out of the toilet...
What a turd.

Sunday, sunday, sunday!
Today hubby and I went to church. We were early today! I am so proud. We are never late for church service...just sunday school. I swear I am going to be late to my own funeral. My husband is always pushing me out of the bed in the morning he is still on military time.
So anyways we went to church and it was good. We received a plan from pastor Dave to read the WHOLE bible in a year. I am going to commit. My only problem is that I analyze everything to much. I dont like to study the bible if Adam is not around because I have to many questions and he references me to the answers in the bible. If I dont have answers to those questions I aimlessly search around for it. Anyways***
So after church we went back home and I took a quick nap because it was the Pastors quarter to go and sing at the Nursing Home. I love old people. But it is also sad too. Some lady who was sitting next to me asked me what time it was and I told her that it was nearly 2:30 and she said "I gotta go, I got to go to Bingo...I come here first for good luck." I was thinking to myself OH my word. What good luck do you need for Bingo in a nursing home, what do you win extra cookies at lunch? LOL
Anyways there was another woman running down the hallway saying "I am gonna call the cops on you". I ran the other way quickly, unsure if she was talking to me. JK!
So yeah, what an eventful day. I did some house cleaning and mopped the floors only to have the boys come in tracking muddy paws all over the floor just as I finished mopping. Those little turds. Good thing for swiffers. We finally got the whole christmas tree down. The cats are pissed now because they have no tree to climb and hide from each other.
Well anyways I am gonna go. I am working on this new blog of all my fab ideas. Check it out... It is a little of this and a little of that.

You will be missed and Never Forgotten

She was born April 8, 1943, in Valparaiso, Ind., to Edwin and Mable "Mickey" (Heimer) Small. Marie married John L. Bond on Sept. 23, 1961.
She is survived by two sons, John (Judy) Bond of Edwardsburg and Tom (Opal) Bond of Middlebury, Ind.; and two daughters, Janet (David) Crane of Crown Point, Ind., and Malena (Lee) Mikel of Nappanee, Ind.
The greatest joys of Marie's life were her 14 grandchildren, Julie Crane, Nicole (Derek) Karrson, Steven Pruett, Jamie Crane, Ashley (Adam) Cornewell, Shawn (Sierra) Crane, Kevin Pruett, Amanda Peek, James Bond, Jordon Bond, Haley Bond, Noah Mikel, Molly Mikel and Mitchell Bond. Also surviving are her mother, Micky Small; three sisters, Margie (Bill) Steelman, Mary (Jim) Ford and Martha (Buzz) Scott; three great-granddaughters; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Small, and her son, Steve Bond.
She was retired from Elkhart (Ind.) Community Schools' Even Start Program, where she inspired so many lives. Marie also was a GED examiner, where she loved seeing people complete their education. Anyone who knew Marie considered her a friend. She would (and did) put everyone else before herself. If anyone was in need, Marie was the first there to help out.
In addition to taking care of her family, Marie enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, riding her horses and fishing with John. Marie was a member of Cass County Conservation Club and the Red Hat Society. Marie was "Mom" to many. She will be incredibly missed by all who knew her.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time) Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home, 700 E. Jackson Blvd., Elkhart. She is not gone yet!
Okay...am I crazy or do I just not understand!?! Why is everyone acting like she is already gone. Planning a funeral and buying suits when she is not even gone yet. I understand the medicine behind it but i think it is very disrespectful to say in her room where she is and capable of hearing you ask if there are any special songs that you want played. You have to be kidding me. HOW DISRESPECTFUL!!! What if those were the last words she had heard them say. Are they okay with that. That woman has done so much for these people it is not even funny, and they are acting like she is gone. She needs their love and prayers. I love this woman more than words can describe and I cannot believe this is happening. I just wish some people would have a little compassion. She would have done that much for you.
