One Flaw In Women

One Flaw In Women

Women have strengths that amaze men.

They bear hardships and they carry burdens, but they hold happiness, love and joy.

They smile when they want to scream.

They sing when they want to cry.

They cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous.

They fight for what they believe in.

They stand up to injustice.

They don't take "no" for an answer when they believe there is a better solution.

They go without so their family can have.

They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.

They love unconditionally.

They cry when their children excel and cheer when their friends get awards. They are happy when they hear about a birth or a wedding.

Their hearts break when a friend dies.

They grieve at the loss of a family member, yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left.

They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart.

Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much they care about you. The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning. They bring joy, hope and love.

They have compassion and ideas.

They give moral support to their family and friends.

Women have vital things to say and everything to give.

HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN, IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.

Please pass this along to all yourwomen friends and relatives to remind them just how amazing they are.

Back in Middlebury

I am in Middlebury this weekend. My parents are going out of town so I am going to babysit my little brother and sister. I am trying to think of something fun to do with the both of them because Mitchell is almost 2 and Haley is 9? Hmmm I will get back to you on that one. Breakfast sounds good for now.

I'm only happy when it rains!

For some reason I love it when it is rainy outside. I love a good thunderstorm. We used to get massive storms in Virginia. In Indiana today it is just gloomy and rainy. The boys just love playing in the rain and getting muddy and tracking their dirty mud paw prints on the floor. I wish they would learn how to wipe their feet on the entry rug.

I need to get some laundry and house cleaning done. I have a mile long list of things to do.

Adam the hubby got his application and VA GI Bill paperwork done today to start school at Liberty University. We are getting excited!

Well I am off to get caught up on that list! Woo Hoo, what fun...where is Mary Poppins when you need her! ;)

Amanda (Panda) 21st Birthday!

The Four Winds Casino & Resort
So officially at 12 midnight on Sunday February 8th my little sister Amanda turned 21! Wow how I feel old. Even though I am only 23 (2 years and 8 months older than her) I just cannot believe that she is 21! She too is newly engaged to a wonderful guy Nick. They have been together for something like 6 years. They just got engaged right before christmas. I am excited for her. They are going to wait until they graduate (both as teachers) from Indiana University to get married.
Anyways*** on to the pictures.
This is my sister and I at around 5 AM, super tired. That is why I look like crap. The casino is open 24 hours. Weird I know. It is like a Walmart.

The architecture in the building was amazing. Lots of wood detail. I wonder how they can afford such nice things!?! LOL!

This is a close up of the ceiling. It reminded me of an Indian hut.

The Sunday evening we went to my sisters favorite place for dinner, Hacienda. I took her in the bar and ordered her her first shot. She is not a drinker at all and she hates the liquer taste in any drink. She is the girly type that likes fruity stuff like Mai Tai's and Sex on the Beach. I had her take a shot of Peach Shnaaps. She actually liked it.
So here is the before the shot photo.
Then the After. You see me already done with it...I wish you could have seen her face after she got it down. She didnt think it was that bad. She would have gagged if it were Whiskey or a Jagerbomb!
Here is Mitchell my baby brother and I. He is too cute to deny a sip of your pop to.

And the birthday girl with her 21 cake.

Here is my two sisters Haley and Amanda. I love this picture!
My, oh my how the time flies! They are growing up so fast.
Before I know it I am going to have neices and nephews and brother in laws!
